Clear plastic shroud doesn't look bad, but it does look a little cheap! But, performance is more important, at least to me if I were to build a desktop PC.

Omg it's so cuuuute >.< But I agree that the plastic shrould makes the card look slightly cheap. Would be better with some brushed black aluminium or something 😀

Just buy a regular 780Ti Classy.. Sooo glad I didnt wait and spend the money on the kingpin.. People haven lots of problems OCing these cards.. Hell Iv got my card oced higher "on air" then any one else has that iv seen on air. Waiting to see more water result's.. Of course the card is made for OCing, but it seems like LN2 is the only way you can OC the card. Im seeing that the Memory is the worst part about the card.. Making out at ~7700.. The regular Classy's can get around ~8000 most can go higher.. Just a waste of money unless your just going to freeze them.

I don't know why people would bother. I can get 1400mhz on a titan on water.. Reference Tis will do that as well, why pay an extra 500 bucks for a card that doesn't oc very well(on air/water)

Because you are missing the point. It's meant for world records, and that is a space where no air or watercooling can reach. One german overclocker went past 1.85GHz core already. Also 1400 on Titan? What voltage and without hardmod? Because I find that very hard to believe.

1. You know that this kind of card is for extreme benching ie: PC or LN. 2. You have so much money that you dont care and only want the card to say "hey look ive got a kingpin". 3.Your incredibly stupid, have lots of money and dont know the difference between a Voodoo 2 and the incoming Maxwell cards. 4. All of the above. LoL

i agree... but on this hardware it is "to have a cooler on the card" because no one keep the original cooler... watercooling, phase changing or LN2 is needed to have acceptable result 🙂
